Season 1912-13

After the humiliation of the previous season 1912-13 saw several new players brought in to help prepare for the year ahead. Gradually signs of improvement were seen and a final league position of 12th was seen as a ray of hope for the future. Star of the season was Ted Magner who had signed from Everton during the previous season. He was to end up top scorer with 17 goals, five of them in one match against Queens Park at Love Street in a 5-0 win.

On a local level the Renfrewshire and Charity cups were both lost, but they did win the Renfrew Victoria Cup beating Arthurlie 6-0 in the final.
