Season 1902-03

Season 1902-03 saw Saints continuing their inconsistent league form and again a mid table position was all they could achieve.

This season also saw Celtic continue their dominance in cup competitions.

They thrashed Saints 4-0(after 0-0 and 1-1 draws) in the first round of the Scottish Cup.

Later in the season St.Mirren defeated Rangers and Third Lanark to reach the final of the Glasgow Charity Cup. Celtic were once again the opposition and again proved too strong for Saints.

With Celtic leading 3-1, Saints keeper Rae was taken off injured and Celtic took advantage to chalk up a 5-2 victory.
