That Saints are the only team to appear in a major
cup final in every decade of the 20th century?
Not even Rangers and Celtic achieved that honour!
For
the record, Rangers missed out in the 1910's and Celtic in the 1940's.
Competitions included in this achievment
are the ones that every club in the country are eligible to compete in, so this does not include local cups or charity/invitational
competitions.
Basically any competition under the auspices of the SFA or the SFL are included, ie. Scottish Cup, League
Cup, Summer Cup, Victory Cups, Drybrough Cups, Anglo Scottish Cup, League Challenge Cup.
... Every club in the country were eligible to compete
in these competitions.
And for those dismissing Saints achievments claiming 'Diddy' status for some of the competitions.......
apart from the League Challenge Cup, both Rangers and Celtic participated in every other competition on several occasions,
and had any of them been relegated, they would have played in that!!!
