Scottish Alliance League
The Scottish Alliance League was the name for the reserve league competition in the early twenties.
Season 1920-21 has gone down in history as one of, if not the worst season in St Mirren's history,

In the season they lost 31 matches which was and still is a record for the old First Division. Not a record to be proud of!

The one glimpse of light in that long season was the performance of the reserve side who secured the Alliance League title to offer some hope that things were going to improve.
