The attendance of 20,000 was a new record for love Street. Ironically, Celtic were the opponents when this record was broken in 1925 and again in 1947!
Semi final   12/04/1919 Easter Road Hibernian 1 St.Mirren 3                            Thomson2 Clark Att: 30,000   O'Hagan, Marshall, Fulton, Perry, McKenna, Anderson, Hodges, Page, Clark, Sutherland, Thomson.    This 30,000 crowd was a new record for a match at Easter Road! Hibernian lost one of their forwards, Gilmour, with a broken collar bone at the start of extra time and Saints were able to take advantage of the extra man!
Final   26/04/1919 Celtic Park St.Mirren 3 Hearts 0 Sutherland2 Hodges                   Att:60,000   O'Hagan, Marshall, Fulton, Perry, McKenna, Anderson, Hodges, Page, Clark, Sutherland, Thomson.   Saints were awarded a 'Victory Cup Shield' for this match, as no cup had yet been made, but it eventually ended up at Love Street and both trophies remain there today!
