Saints win in the final is reputed to have almost brought
down a Lancaster bomber!!
Alex Linwoods cousin was at the controls of the aircraft
when news of the win came through. He is alleged to have raised his arms in celebration, causing the bomber to fall several
hundred feet before he regained control!!
