Scottish Cup

The
Scottish Cup was first competed for in 1873-74.
St.Mirren first took part in 1880-81.
Over the years it has provided many memorable occasions in Saints
history with three victories in 1926, 1959 and
1987.

There have also been
three losing final appearances in 1908, 1934 and 1962.
Add to this seventeen semi final appearances and you can see the
importance of the competition in Saints history.
Best period was the 1980’s when they reached the semi final on four
occasions and won the trophy once.
