Chivas Regal Invitational Tournament

During the pre-season of 1981-82 St.Mirren were invited to compete for the Chivas Regal trophy, hosted by Highland League club Keith.

They were joined by Raith Rovers and Brechin City in the four team event, played over two days in July.

Saints were in the Premier Division at the time with opponents Raith in the First Division and Brechin in the second.

The format was semi finals and then a third place play-off before the final.

St.Mirren 0 Brechin City 0 (Saints won 5-4 on penalties.)
